POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Foreman is a hands-on field leader responsible for executing commercial roofing installation work and leading a production crew on day-to-day jobs. This role owns the safety, quality, productivity, and documentation of every project from start to finish. The right candidate is a strong technical roofer who has earned crew respect through their craft, sets the standard on every jobsite, and develops their team while delivering exceptional results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a production crew on commercial roofing installation, repair, and maintenance projects on Duro-Last PVC system
  • Plan, sequence, and execute installation work, directing the crew to complete jobs safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
  • Enforce safety standards on every jobsite including JHA completion, fall protection, and proper PPE use, with a goal of zero OSHA recordables
  • Identify and document repair or additional work opportunities observed on site and communicate findings to the Production Manager
  • Ensure complete jobsite documentation (photos, install summaries, job notes) is submitted within 24 hours to support accurate invoicing
  • Train and develop production roofers, building their ability to execute complex installations and work more independently over time
  • Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment needed for each job and ensure the crew is set up for efficient execution

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience

  • 4+ years of commercial roofing installation experience with at least 2 years leading field crews (foreman or construction manager capacity)
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial roofing systems including Duro-Last PVC, EPDM, TPO, BUR, Modified Bitumen, and low-slope metal
  • Proven ability to plan and execute commercial roofing installations from start to finish
  • Track record of leading crews with zero OSHA recordables and TRIR under 1.0
  • Experience directing production crews, coordinating work, and meeting productivity and quality standards
  • Valid driver's license required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and remain on feet for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, and varying weather conditions
  • Comfort working on commercial roof systems and in elevated or confined work areas
