AspectRemote Commercial Flat Roofing

Since the comparison is with itself, the focus is on understanding the role's scope. Remote Commercial Flat Roofing involves installing, repairing, and maintaining flat roofs on commercial buildings, often requiring certifications like OSHA and roofing licenses. It typically involves physical work on-site, but remote roles may include project management or consultation. The key difference lies in the work environment: on-site versus remote work, which may involve coordinating projects or providing technical support remotely. Both roles share similar credentials and industry usage, but remote positions emphasize planning, communication, and oversight rather than physical roofing tasks.

Commercial Roofing Account Manager

North American Roofing

Atlanta, GA • Remote

Full-time

Posted 18 days ago

Job description

North American Roofing is looking for an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Account Manager. You'll lead complex sales cycles with property owners and facility managers, helping them solve the kind of structural challenges that come with owning a commercial roof, whether that's a repair, a re-roof, or an ongoing service plan. This is a remote field role with real autonomy: you'll build your own pipeline, own your accounts, and represent a company that's been solving roofing problems since 1979. This is a full time W2 position with a Base Salary plus commission.

What You'll Do

  • Drive full sales cycles from prospecting to close, targeting regional and enterprise-wide accounts
  • Develop account-specific strategies to reach the right decision-makers and grow business within existing accounts
  • Prospect through cold calling, social media, email, and face-to-face meetings to open new regional, corporate, and national accounts
  • Re-engage long-standing relationships and executive sponsors using consultative selling
  • Build and present account strategy and tactical plans, documented in CRM
  • Partner with our internal teams to make sure every customer is served well from first call to signed contract
  • Stay sharp on industry trends and the competitive landscape so you can position NAR effectively
  • Travel as needed (up to 75%) to meet customers where they are, including offices, rooftops, and job sites

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a strong solution-selling background
  • 2+ years selling to large enterprise accounts, both new and existing
  • Experience in roofing, facilities, or commercial construction sales
  • Comfort with long, complex sales cycles involving major capital expenditures
  • Strong relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in HubSpot or Salesforce, plus Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally climb or lift up to 50 lbs as part of on-site visits
  • A valid motor vehicle record that passes our screening

Nice to have: experience selling contractor-type services to large enterprises, MS Dynamics and Hubspot training, experience working with consultants, or formal training in SPIN, Sandler, The Challenger, or similar sales methodologies.

Why NAR

At North American Roofing, our people are the reason customers come back. We're a commercial roofing company that's grown by putting relationships and craftsmanship first, and we're looking for someone who wants to build something real with us, not just hit quota. If you know how to open doors, build trust, and close complex deals, we want to talk.
