Commercial Roofer Hot Application Experience - Albuquerque - 5110

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofer with proven expertise in hot-applied roofing systems. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial roofing systems, including built-up roofing (BUR) and hot asphalt applications, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Install and repair commercial roofing systems using hot asphalt and related materials.
  • Perform tear-offs, roof preparation, insulation installation, and membrane application.
  • Operate roofing equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
  • Read and interpret project specifications and blueprints.
  • Work effectively with crew members, supervisors, and project managers.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 25 years of commercial roofing experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with hot-applied roofing systems (BUR, hot asphalt, modified bitumen).
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing materials and installation methods.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work at heights.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
