Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Commercial Roofing Technician to join our field team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various commercial roof systems. Youll work on a variety of projects ranging from minor leak repairs to large-scale roof replacements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation & Repair: Install and repair commercial roof systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, Liquid Applied Systems, and metal roofing.
  • Leak Diagnostics: Inspect roofs to locate leaks, determine the cause of damage, and execute effective, long-lasting repairs.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance on commercial properties (cleaning drains, flashing repairs, etc.).
  • Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety policies, including proper use of fall protection equipment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work efficiently with the foreman and crew members to complete projects safely, on time, and within scope.
  • Documentation: Accurately document completed work and material usage, often using a mobile tablet or app.

What Were Looking For

  • Experience: Commercial roofing experience (2+ years) is a plus, but not required. We will provide top-tier training for the right candidate who is ready to work hard and grow with us.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable using basic hand and power tools with a natural knack for working with your hands and measuring accurately. While prior experience with commercial roof systems (like single-ply membranes or coatings) or general construction is a plus, it is not requiredwe will fully train you from the ground up.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, wind).
  • Reliability: A valid drivers license and dependable transportation to get to the shop or job sites.
  • Mindset: A strong work ethic, a safety-first attitude, and a knack for problem-solving.
