Job Overview

Tusing Builders LTD is seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Flat Roofing Foreman to lead flat roof installation and service projects across Northern Ohio. This full-time position requires hands-on roofing expertise, leadership in managing crews, and the ability to ensure all jobsite operations run efficiently and safely. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience with systems like TPO, EPDM, and Durolast, and will be based in or near the Cleveland, OH area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the removal, installation, and servicing of flat commercial roofing systems.
  • Lead and coordinate a small crew of roofers on daily project tasks.
  • Ensure all work follows manufacturer specifications and project design standards.
  • Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and professionalism at all times.
  • Communicate clearly with the project manager, foreman, or leadsman about site updates or concerns.
  • Ensure proper use and care of tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Train or guide less experienced crew members as needed.
  • Perform and oversee installation of insulation, membrane systems, flashing, drains, and edge details.
  • Accurately interpret tape measurements, design details, and job scopes.
  • Identify and resolve on-site issues or deviations promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial flat roofing (TPO, EPDM, Durolast, etc.).
  • Reside near Cleveland, OH or western suburbs.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license required.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of managing crews or leading tasks on site.
  • Physically able to lift up to 80 lbs and work on rooftops in varying weather conditions.
  • Skilled in the use of basic hand and power tools.
  • Ability to climb ladders, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented approach to work.
  • No formal education requiredโ€”just experience, reliability, and commitment to quality.
