Are you a college student or high school junior/senior who is looking to earn some money over the summer break? Rochester Management Inc. is looking for students to fill seasonal jobs at multiple sites in and around Rochester area over the summer. Seasonal assignments are open from May through the end of August. Assist in the day to day operation of apartment communities throughout the Rochester area. Cleaning, grounds work, painting and landscaping. No experience necessary. Locations throughout the Rochester area. Earn money for college while learning new skills.
40 hours per week
$16.75/ hour plus bonus program! Earn an extra $1.00 for every hour worked through August 21th ! The sooner you start, the more bonus you'll earn!

Rochester Management Summer Employment Program 2026

The individuals hired for the summer season play an important role in the success of Rochester Management. Summer employees assist with grounds work and other exterior maintenance, apartment and common area cleaning, as well as interior and exterior painting. These tasks are essential and must be completed within a limited timeframe.

We seek applicants who are willing to work hard, remain available throughout the summer season, and demonstrate flexibility. At times, project demands require that a significant amount of work be completed in a short period; therefore, summer employees must be willing to work overtime when requested.

A neat and professional appearance is also required. Summer employees are expected to wear the company-provided shirts at all times while working. Your conduct, actions, and demeanor reflect not only on Rochester

Management, but also on your fellow employees.

To attract and retain strong seasonal staff, Rochester Management offers a competitive hourly wage along with an end-of-season bonus for those who meet the eligibility requirements outlined below.

Compensation

If you are hired for the summer season, you will be paid $16.75 per hour, which includes up to three paid holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th), based on company attendance requirements. Overtime is paid at time and one-half for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek. Each workweek begins on Monday and ends the following Sunday.

Seasonal Bonus Policy
Seasonal employees may qualify for a retention bonus equivalent to $1.00 or $1.20 per hour worked, paid as a lump sum at the conclusion of the season, provided the following conditions are met:

1. Attendance Requirement
Employees must have no unexcused absences during the season. Occasional time off may be permitted when necessary; however, employees are required to notify and obtain approval from their supervisor in advance, or as soon as reasonably possible if advance notice is not feasible. Absences are unpaid.

2. Season Completion or Hours Requirement
To be eligible for the bonus, employees must either:

ยท Remain actively employed through the end of the workday on Friday, August 21, 2026, or

ยท Complete a specified number of hours during the season, with clear communication about your employment end date, and be eligible for future rehire.

Bonus Calculation

ยท First-year seasonal employees: Bonus equal to $1.00 multiplied by total hours worked

ยท Returning seasonal employees: Bonus equal to $1.20 multiplied by total hours worked

The bonus will be paid in a single payment at the end of the season and is contingent upon meeting all eligibility requirements.
