Job description

We're looking for a driven, results-oriented Collision Center Production Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced, high-volume collision repair facility. If you're a person who thrives on organization, teamwork, and delivering exceptional customer experiences, we want to hear from you.

Reports to: Collision Center Assistant Manager

Job Summary

At Rochester Collision Center, we believe great repairs start with a great team. The Production Manager is responsible for leading daily production, maximizing shop efficiency, ensuring repair quality, and delivering an exceptional customer experience by keeping every repair moving from blueprint to delivery.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production and workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize cycle time.
  • Perform mirror matching to verify all parts are correct, complete, and ready before repairs begin.
  • Ensure 100% parts accuracy and completeness, eliminating delays caused by missing, incorrect, or damaged parts.
  • Conduct final quality control inspections prior to vehicle delivery.
  • Monitor repair progress and proactively remove production bottlenecks.
  • Approach repair planning with urgency and attention to detail to eliminate waste and rework.
  • Monitor all work in progress and maintain accurate repair status.
  • Coordinate technicians, estimators, parts personnel, and office staff to maximize throughput.
  • Partner with technicians to meet production goals while maintaining repair quality.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, insurance partners, vendors, and team members.
  • Participate in daily production meetings and adjust repair schedules as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Completion of background and drug screening.
  • Strong understanding of collision repair processes, blueprinting, parts management, and production scheduling.
  • Experience performing mirror matching and verifying repair plans.
  • Experience with CCC ONE and/or Mitchell preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
