Job description

Rinvio is hiring a Field Robotics Deployment Specialist for a national travel contract role supporting advanced equipment in construction environments. This position is focused on practical field execution: deploying equipment, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with construction teams, and helping technical teams understand what is happening on real jobsites.


Pay: Around $120,000/year, based on experience

Location: Salt Lake City, UT area preferred; candidates should live within approximately 30 miles of a major airport

Travel: Heavy weekly travel to project sites across the U.S.

Type: Contract / project-based


Responsibilities:

- Deploy and support robotic/autonomous equipment on construction and infrastructure jobsites

- Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain heavy equipment, sensors, electronics, and field components

- Work directly with site teams, operators, and technical support contacts to keep deployments moving safely

- Install, adjust, test, and maintain equipment components and related field hardware

- Document bugs, failures, field observations, maintenance needs, and user feedback

- Support preventative maintenance practices and help improve field operating procedures

- Perform scheduled overnight or extended operations when project needs require it

- Represent Rinvio professionally while working around active construction operations


Requirements:

- Construction, heavy equipment, field service, industrial machinery, robotics, or equipment maintenance background

- 5+ years of hands-on experience repairing, maintaining, operating, or troubleshooting equipment preferred

- Strong mechanical aptitude with comfort around tools, diagnostics, electronics, and sensors

- Ability to communicate clearly with operators, field crews, customers, and technical teams

- Willingness to travel weekly and adapt to changing jobsite conditions

- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to lift up to 60 lbs

- Dependable, detail-oriented, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently

- Electrical, fabrication, hydraulics, soldering, GPS/machine control, or automation experience is a plus
