OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY
Provide a variety of clinical duties under the direction of a Medical Provider as well as perform outreach activities. Follow established Medical Assistant guidelines as approved by Lincoln Community Health Center.
QUALIFICATIONS
General clinical knowledge to include performing basic laboratory test, patient education, and patient medical histories usually obtained through clinical internships. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, clinical staff and Medical Providers.
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting Program preferably with an associate degree in medical assisting supplemented by the RMA and/or CMA exam or non-Certified. Phlebotomy experience a plus!
