At WTCSB our mission is to provide a coordinated system of quality recovery-oriented care in Mental Health, Intellectual Disability, and Substance Abuse Services to the citizens of the cities of Franklin and Suffolk and the counties of Isle of Wight and Southampton. We are seeking a Full time and PRN Registered Medication Aide for The Tidewater Cove Department.

Responsibilities and Duties for RMA:

  • Perform direct consumer care such as monitoring vital signs, bathing, dressing, ambulating, toileting, transferring, height and weight, feeding, meal planning/preparation, exercises.
  • Administer medication as directed.
  • Assist Nurse with nail care of
  • Assist Nurse with consumer medical
  • Document observations on consumer progress and activities, tasks performed and response to care in the clinical
  • Maintain confidentiality of all consumer care and personal information

Qualifications and Skills for RMA:

  • Licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Licensure as a Medication Aide
  • 1 year of nursing experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable DMV record
  • Long term Care experience preferred
  • Proficient using Electronic medical records
  • Basic knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare Regulations preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience working with individual with dementia or Alzheimer's
