Ride Operations Senior Supervisor

Job Type: Part-time with benefits
Pay Rate: $20/hr.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Rides Manager on Duty, making operational decisions and ensuring smooth operations across all rides. 
  • Ensure team compliance with safety standards and Six Flags policies. 
  • Oversee and collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operation of ride shut down. 
  • Supervise, develop, and evaluate the leadership team and team members, holding them accountable for attendance, performance, cleanliness, and meeting departmental goals. 
  • Adhere to and enforce operating expense budgets to ensure we are aligned with company guidelines.  
  • Establishing a culture of feedback, learning, and adaptation to continuously improve efficiency and meet evolving throughput goals.  
  • Prioritize Guests needs to deliver an outstanding experience. 
  • Support team members to ensure efficient and safe operation of rides. 
  • Collaborate with the training team to ensure team members and leadership are properly certified and prepared for success. 
  • Work closely with supervisors, team members, and department heads to advance departmental initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with the scheduling team to maintain adequate staffing levels for daily operations and special events. 
  • Uphold park standards for safety, friendliness, cleanliness, and efficiency. 
  • Comply with all other duties assigned to support the Operations Division and the Park’s operation. 

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License. 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and varied shifts including holidays and weekends. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Possess the ability to work independently and manage high level tasks and projects. 
  • Commitment to a total safety, having a strong safety-first mentality.  
  • Preferred a minimum of 3 years theme park experience, including at least 1 year in leadership. 
  • Preferred current iROC Trainer or Instructor Certification.
