Summary:

As a Ride Operations Supervisor, you'll lead a high‑energy team that delivers safe, smooth, and unforgettable ride experiences for our Guests. You'll oversee day‑to‑day ride operations, staffing, training, safety audits, and quality control while fostering a strong, positive team culture. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys developing people, and wants to play a key part in creating memorable guest experiences.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead and train Ride Operations Team Members and Leads through orientation, hands‑on instruction, and ongoing coaching, with a constant focus on safe, consistent operational practices.
  • Deliver exceptional Guest Service while enforcing safe behavior in queues, platforms, and boarding areas, confidently resolving Guest concerns while maintaining a calm and secure environment.
  • Step in as needed to operate rides or support staffing gaps, ensuring every procedure, check, and cycle is performed according to safety standards.
  • Conduct frequent safety, service, and facility audits to verify that ride areas, team procedures, and Guest interactions meet all operational and safety requirements.
  • Oversee daily ride inspections and ensure accurate completion of downtime logs, safety checklists, and other required documentation.
  • Reinforce a strong, proactive safety culture by modeling proper procedures, addressing unsafe actions immediately, and ensuring 100% compliance throughout the team.
  • Provide clear feedback, coach team members, and document performance or disciplinary actions-especially when related to safety lapses or operational risk.
  • Collaborate with Operations leadership to execute departmental goals, quickly respond to safety‑related needs, and support continuous improvement across ride operations.
  • Serve as a high‑energy motivator who celebrates wins, lifts the team's spirit, and creates a supportive, positive environment where every team member feels valued, encouraged, and confident.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or necessary to support the resort as a whole.


How You Will Do It
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of the Ride Operations Department.
  • Use creativity and leadership skills to improve processes and enhance Guest experience.
  • Ensure your team is confident, prepared, and equipped for each operational day.
  • Collaborate with Operations Management to support department goals.
  • Follow all Enchanted Parks policies, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures.
What You Will Need
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights of up to 192 feet.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort speaking to large groups of Guests.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with a team‑first mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail, time‑management skills, and a proactive work approach.
  • A history of successful performance within Six Flags or other leadership roles.
  • Valid Driver's License, with ability to obtain a Park Driver's License.
