Job description

Position Summary:
The Chief Ride Operator is responsible for coordinating all show and ride aspects of Sky Fly: Soar America, including safety, cleanliness, monitoring of the queue, and initiating ride and show commands.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
โ€ข Maintains operational, safety, and cleanliness standards.
โ€ข Acts as "Person in Charge" of the show experience.
โ€ข Tests equipment daily before opening attraction to guests.
โ€ข Responsible for the daily cleaning of the attraction with other staff
โ€ข Implements all Standard Operating Procedures, including evacuation procedure.
โ€ข Oversees to flow of guests through the attraction.
โ€ข Responsible for maintaining a properly timed experience.
โ€ข Coordinates and Initiates the show sequence for the attraction and pre-show areas.
โ€ข Observes the attraction for abnormal faults and handles such items appropriately.
โ€ข Ensures staff and guests follow protocol while loading, unloading, and riding.
โ€ข Enforces ride restrictions and recommendations to ensure safe operation.
โ€ข Verify all safety systems are in proper condition prior to starting ride.
โ€ข Ensures the TD Booth door always remains closed.
โ€ข Allows only authorized personnel in the TD Booth.
โ€ข Does not allow personal electronic devices or distractions into the TD Booth.
โ€ข Communicates any mechanical issues to the Manager on Duty as well as Maintenance staff.
โ€ข Conducts evacuations in a safe, effective manner.
โ€ข Completes daily paperwork as required.
โ€ข Assists in training as needed.
โ€ข Follows all handbook policies.
โ€ข Other duties, as assigned.
