Military Logistics Planner
The Opportunity:
As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.
What You'll Do:
  • Support logistics planning, operations, and engagements for military clients.
  • Execute all logistical inputs, subject matter expertise analysis, and feedback to various efforts, including the development of logistics plans, concepts, and other strategy documents to ensure client support.
  • Provide coordination, monitoring, and oversight of plan impacts and capability requirements to support the assigned mission.
  • Support the development of Courses of Action and Concepts of Support. Conduct strategic assessments.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in logistics, planning, and operations
  • 5+ years of experience as a logistics planner or operations professional
  • 3+ years of experience in a Staff Level division or Headquarters command
  • Experience with developing logistics Courses of Action (COA) and Concepts of Support (COS)
  • Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods for logistics synchronization processes, procedures, logistics data accuracy, quality, logistics feasibility studies, issues, plans, policies, and guidance
  • Knowledge of business management policies, business process analysis methodologies, and concepts, practices, and principles employed to fully analyze and develop recommendations for improvement
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps Plans and Operations
  • Ability to help solve clients' priority challenges, including being data-focused
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience as a MAGTF planner in USMC
  • Experience with working cross-functionally using teamwork and collaboration across departments and commands
  • Ability to conduct complex written and visual strategic assessments
  • Ability to brief senior military leaders
  • Possession of excellent research and analytic skills
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Master's degree
  • Graduate of USMC School of Advanced Warfighting (SAW)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
