Job SummaryVeo is seeking operations professionals who are passionate about providing riders with an excellent experience by maintaining our vehicles and continually improving fleet operations. As an E-Scooter Delivery Driver, you will locate, swap batteries, and rebalance scooters throughout the city while performing quality checks and minor repairs.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and staying active throughout the shift.
Responsibilities- Follow mobile app instructions to complete assigned tasks
- Drive a company-provided van to locate scooters and swap batteries
- Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas
- Perform basic repairs and quality checks
- Respond to on-demand requests to locate and retrieve scooters
- Maintain accurate task completion through the mobile app
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile applications
- Ability to lift and move scooters weighing up to 60 lbs without assistance
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of local geography and street layouts
- Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, logistics, or operations
- Ability to work overnight shifts
- Experience driving cargo vans or delivery vehicles
- This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position
