Job description

As a Ride Ops Supervisor, you will be responsible for scheduling, training, and evaluating ride operators.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise ride locations and ensure all procedures and safety steps are followed
  • Train, schedule, coach, and discipline team members with appropriate feedback and documentation
  • Respond to and assist with emergency calls
  • Regularly monitor ride attraction areas and maintain situational awareness of overall operation
  • Give clear direction and assistance to guests and associates in regards to safety 
  • Accurately complete operational paperwork in a timely manner
  • Notify maintenance of equipment issues necessary to ensure safe operation
  • Follow and enforce all park and departmental policies and procedures
  • Maintain reliability by working assigned shifts as scheduled
  • Assist and support team members with all aspects of daily ride operations including, but not limited to, loading, unloading, control panel operation, crowd control, lost articles, and area cleanliness
  • Ensure highest level of guest service at all times
  • Ensure the safety of all guests and team members
  • Proactively manage daily issues and maintain communication with the Ride Operations Manager
  • Motivate and engage each team member
  • Inspect attraction areas and ensure they meet safety standards
  • Coordinate with the ride maintenance team to ensure attraction readiness
  • Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to provide effective communication in a professional manner at all times
  • Minimum of two year's supervisory experience within a service, hospitality, or retail industry
  • Previous ride operator experience a plus
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs
  • Must be willing to work odd and irregular hours
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license
