Job description

We are hiring for:

Licensed Practical Nurse Travel LPN East TN

Type:

Temporary

As a nurse with RHA will have an opportunity to practice holistic nursing and to positively impact the lives of others by providing healthcare oversight and monitoring for the people we serve.

Overview:

  • Travel Float Nurse positions are temporary.Hours are not guaranteed but are based on the needs of the units and/or assigned locations.

  • Flexible schedules, part-time, full-time, and as-needed basis.

  • Nurses will cover shifts and schedules as needed at the units in their assigned locations. Travel expenses will be covered as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program

  • Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.

  • 1 year of nursing experience

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families

  • Must be able to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasks

  • Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification

  • Float Nurse is responsible for keeping all required licensure, certifications and CPR certification current.

  • Float Nurse must complete all required RHA and unit specific annual competencies when due and this information should be recorded in Workday.

  • Work requirements will be reviewed every month to determine continued eligibility for program.
