Job description

Role Summary

The RFP Specialist plays a critical role in advancing the strategic sales objectives of T. Rowe Price's global distribution units by supporting client servicing and prospecting activities. This includes ensuring that Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ) are created accurately and timely in accordance with client expectations. Coordination with global distribution units and subject matter experts (e.g. product, investment) as needed is essential to complete these requests with the objective of winning and retaining business.

The RFP Specialist is responsible for supporting senior RFP team members as well as managing less complex requests independently as appropriate. The RFP Specialist is expected to adhere to internal processes and partner effectively with team members across Global RFP to deliver high quality, compelling documents.

Responsibilities

The RFPSpecialistis responsible forpreparing, customizing, and managingcontent for deadline-driven requests for proposals from prospects and current clients:

  • Working within the agreed protocols and parameters of the T. Rowe Price RFP/DDQ process; including use of RFP Library Responsive,leveragingtech solutions, adhering to process and policy documents, sourcing information internally, andmaintainingaccurateand up-to-date statistics in the record system.

  • Effectively collaborating withallstakeholders required for effective proposalcreationand delivery: Accurately highlight outliers, ensure information and data is correctly sourced; working withRFPEditorsandSMEsto ensuretimelydelivery of requests. This also includesthe formatting of the final response,attachments, and uploading to portalsas well as working withContent Managers to ensure that original or revisedcontent isvettedand captured.

  • Making an efforttotailoringthe firm's standard responses as needed to ensure that competitive positioning points are communicated relevantly and effectively within each output;ensuringthat each proposalexhibitseditorial integrity, the firm's voice, brandedstrategiesand a high degree of readability.

  • The RFPSpecialistwill be working on multiple project proposals at any given time so needs to be adept at project management co-ordination to ensure theaccurateandtimelydelivery of deadline-driven tenderdocuments.

  • Supportingandadvocating forthe adoption of technical solutions:Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance proposal development efficiency and effectiveness.The RFPSpecialistneeds to stay abreast of technical developments at the industry and firm level,demonstratingoptimalutilizationof the RFP team's technological resources.Active involvement in testingnew technologiesand defining best practices is crucial, encompassing AIutilization,processautomationrecommendations, and other innovative solutions.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

  • Detailed oriented

  • Strong communicationskills

  • Strongtime management skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred:

  • Demonstrates an interestofthe applicationof technologyin business processes,includingAI andothersoftware to enhance workflow

  • Experience with deadline driven work

FINRA licenses are notrequiredand will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, withup toonedaya week from home.
