Job summary
The Senior Pricing & Proposal Analyst is responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies and leading bid proposal efforts within the Facility Services division. This role focuses on building detailed cost models, preparing competitive RFP responses, and supporting pricing decisions for new business opportunities and contract renewals across janitorial, maintenance, and integrated facility services.
This position requires strong industry knowledge and hands-on experience with labor-based pricing models, service scopes, and contract structures commonly used by leading facility services providers.
The Senior Pricing & Proposal Analyst serves as a key analytical partner to operations, sales, and finance teams, ensuring all pricing solutions are accurate, competitive, and operationally aligned. This role works closely with leadership to deliver high-quality, compliant proposals that support sustainable growth and profitability.
Salary: $80,000 to $90,000
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Proposal Development
  • Lead end-to-end pricing for RFPs, RFQs, and bid proposals within janitorial and facility services accounts
  • Partner with operations to validate staffing plans, production rates, and service delivery assumptions
  • Ensure pricing aligns with financial targets, margin expectations, and contractual requirements
  • Develop and maintain detailed cost models, including direct labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and overhead for facility services contracts such as janitorial labor operations.
  • Analyze labor, equipment, materials, overhead, and productivity assumptions to ensure pricing accuracy and margin alignment.
  • Review tender and RFP documentation to identify commercial requirements, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure pricing reflects market conditions, operational realities, and company financial targets.
  • Assist in maintaining standardized pricing templates, tools, and cost model libraries.

Data, Tools & Process Improvement
  • Leverage pricing analytics tools, spreadsheets, and internal systems to improve modeling accuracy and proposal turnaround time.
  • Support automation, AI-driven analysis, and digital proposal initiatives to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pricing methodologies, workflows, and documentation standards.
  • Track proposal outcomes and pricing performance metrics to support future strategy development.

Quality, Compliance & Risk Support
  • Conduct detailed quality reviews of pricing inputs and proposal documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
  • Support contract review processes to ensure pricing assumptions align with contractual terms, service levels, and risk thresholds.
  • Document pricing assumptions, exclusions, and risks clearly for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with audit support and post-award pricing validation when required.
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Legal to gather inputs and validate service scopes and cost drivers.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on pricing methodology for assigned proposals and service lines.
  • Provide guidance and informal mentoring to junior pricing analysts when needed.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Experience in pricing, financial analysis, commercial proposals, or contract support.
  • Exposure in labor-focused pricing, proposals, or financial analysis within Facility Services, Janitorial, or Building Maintenance industries
  • Strong understanding of labor-driven cost structures, union/non-union environments, and service-level agreements (SLAs)
  • Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, scenario analysis); experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
