Job description


Hospitality Spotlight is looking for a Hotel Director of Revenue Strategy for a client in southern California.
The Work:
  • Provide leadership in the areas of Revenue Management (including distribution, revenue optimization, digital marketing, reservations, analysis, evaluation +)
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and develop and deploy new strategies
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Optimize and expand distribution partnerships
  • Challenge and influence hotel to improve service level and operational standards.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Travel as needed

What you've already done (requirements):
  • 5 to 7 years of experience implementing revenue management operations, procedures and best practices within a hotel environment
  • Developed and deployed new strategies
  • Experience repositioning a hotel
  • Maintain knowledge of current economic conditions within the hospitality industry
  • Experience with property revenue management with a focus on group, transient, and corporate
  • Worked with independent and luxury/upscale hotels
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must possess a track record of successful leadership
  • Developed interpersonal, adaptive influencing and supervisory management skills
  • Knowledge of online hotel reservation systems and revenue management systems +
  • Additional duties as required by role
