Merchandise Return Associate

REEDS Jewelers is excited to post this important position to join our team.

REEDS Jewelers is currently seeking a team oriented Merchandise Return Associate for our corporate office in Wilmington, NC. The Merchandise Return Associate is responsible for receiving, categorizing, processing and the distribution of customer/store damaged, trade-in and break-out merchandise to ensure the highest level of service exceeding customer expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Exemplify the REEDS' Mission and Core Business Values.
  • Respond to store inquiries regarding merchandise returns.
  • Researches and identifies untagged merchandise.
  • Creates transfer documents to distribute merchandise to and from the corporate office and store locations.
  • Responsible for the review and analysis of all non-plu trade-ins and break-out merchandise.
  • Responsible for following security policies to ensure merchandise is protected.
  • Receives, documents and audits incoming damaged merchandise from the corporate office and store locations.
  • Reviews merchandise for quality issues. Determine correct processes to handle irregularities.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping in the MRE area.
  • Partner with other corporate departments and stores to provide timely assistance and perform other duties as directed by Lead, Supervisor and Inventory Control Director.
  • Conduct business affairs in a legal and ethical manner, building a socially conscious environment.
