What are retired builders?

Retired builders are individuals who previously worked in the construction industry, overseeing and managing building projects, but have now left the workforce, typically due to reaching retirement age. They often possess a wealth of experience in various construction trades, project management, and site safety. Many retired builders choose to stay active by consulting, volunteering, or sharing their expertise with others, such as mentoring younger builders or participating in community projects.

To thrive as a Builder, you need expertise in construction techniques, blueprint reading, and a solid understanding of building codes, often gained through apprenticeships or vocational training. Familiarity with tools like power equipment, construction management software, and safety certifications such as OSHA are typically required. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and attention to detail set outstanding builders apart. These skills ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to high quality standards.
