Retail Assistant (Part Time)

Job Location:

Egg Harbor Township, NJ

Position Summary:

TackleDirect is seeking a Retail Store Assistant. This job is located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. The primary purpose of this position is to assist customers in our Retail Showroom by providing world class service and expert product knowledge. The Retail Store Assistant is also responsible for maintaining inventory in the retail store. The Retail Store Assistant reports to the Retail Store Manager.

Essential Functions:

• Ringing out customers through our POS System

• Making recommendations to customers by using expert product knowledge

• Maintaining inventory in the retail store

• Transferring inventory from the Warehouse to replenish stock in the retail store

• Monitoring customers for any loss prevention issues

• Providing World Class Customer Service to every customer in our retail showroom

• Spooling line on Reels and logging customer’s reels for repairs

• Participating in and setting up special events in retail

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

• Ability to read and write English

• Must have knowledge of Fishing Industry and/or fishing Related Products

• Must have the ability to provide world class customer service

• Basic Computer Knowledge

• Handheld Scanner experience a plus

• Must be able to stand for hours at a time without sitting

Compensation:

• Hourly Range - $15.49hr (Non-Exempt)

• Eligible for Employee Discount at time of hire
