Description:

The Retail Operations Coordinator provides clerical and administrative support to the EVP Chief Banking Officer, VP Consumer Banking Leader, the Retail Banking group, and other Senior Officers as needed. This position maintains a high level of professionalism, exceptional organizational skills, confidentiality, multitasking, accuracy and requires superior computer skills.


ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regular onsite attendance, travel as needed.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently with little direction
  • Provides constant immediate support with branch operational questions (email or phone)
  • Provides accurate, efficient, and exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Maintains knowledge of bank regulations, security and compliance responsibilities, products, policies, procedures and meets deadlines
  • Maintains and updates policies and procedures for Retail staff and banking centers as approved by VP Consumer Banking Leader, SVP Chief Banking Officer and/or other Senior Management as needed
  • Assists executive team as needed, schedules meetings, takes minutes, etc.
  • Assists in coordinating Community Banking Events as needed
  • Participates and attends PIT Crew Meetings
  • Assists in coverage of branches with staffing needs
  • Prepares written and electronic correspondence
  • Oversees retail vendor management – monitors contract due dates, researches and makes any recommendations of changes to VP of Retail Banking and SVP, Chief Banking Officer.
  • Compiles data for audits and reports from multiple sources, for marketing, staff efficiency, incentives, board meetings, management and retail meetings.
  • Updates retail information in The Hub
  • Reviews and processes retail invoices for payment after verification with Community Sales Managers or Leads as needed
  • Forms, manages, and participates in committees as identified regarding various operational items as well as those items identified by VP Consumer Banking Leader or EVP Chief Banking Officer.
  • Maintains messaging for electronic information signs at branches
  • Assists with QSI/Diebold on ATM Maintenance/Upgrades
  • Assists with the Vector security system alarms and cameras; maintains user access
  • Participates as Retail representative on the internal audit team; maintains retail portion of the audit list
  • Coordinates retail meetings.
  • Collaborates with Training Specialist in creating retail training as needed. Recommends and implements additional training as identified and needed.
  • Coordinates with marketing and advertising agencies in planning and preparing customer communications, advertising pieces and social media engagement, informs staff of marketing initiatives and orders marketing materials as needed
  • Reviews data integrity between reporting systems and retail programs such as Core IQ and the core
  • Maintains user databases for retail programs such as Core IQ and Clover
  • Satisfactorily completes all training required for the position
  • Assists in directing, managing, coordinating, and monitoring activities to ensure that branch personnel are complying with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Assists in security, policy and procedures, ensures compliance, training, and effectiveness to protect personnel and bank assets.
  • Is the liaison for Retail Operations and issues as they pertain to the day-to-day branch activities. Works closely with the Banks Operations Department and other departments to resolve and/or coordinate any issues and or activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess above average organizational, language and computer skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Extremely confidential and customer service oriented.
  • Be able to work independently and with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES -This position has no direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

One year certificate from college or technical school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years branch operations experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with and solve practical problems involving a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations.
