Overview
The Vice President, Brand Marketing is responsible for defining the strategic direction and business objectives for an assigned brand portfolio within the Retail business. This role owns category strategy, portfolio performance, brand positioning, and financial results to deliver sustainable growth, strong brand health, and long-term value creation.
Reporting to the Group Vice President, Retail & Innovation, this role translates consumer, customer, and marketplace insights into winning strategies, leads execution across the portfolio, and develops organizational capability to deliver profitable growth while contributing to the overall Retail portfolio strategy.
Responsibilities • What You'll Do
  • Define category strategy, long-term growth priorities, and business objectives for an assigned portfolio.
  • Own category P&L, including revenue, profitability, financial performance, forecasting, and long-range business planning.
  • Lead portfolio strategy, including brand positioning, product portfolio, pricing, and growth priorities.
  • Identify consumer, customer, competitive, and marketplace opportunities to inform strategic direction and business decisions.
  • Lead annual operating plans and long-range category strategies aligned with enterprise priorities.
  • Champion innovation and commercialization initiatives within the assigned portfolio to drive profitable growth.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to successfully execute strategic initiatives and achieve business objectives.
  • Make business decisions that balance short-term performance with long-term brand and category growth.
  • Build strong organizational capability by developing leaders, strengthening succession, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Present business performance, growth strategies, and recommendations to executive leadership.

Qualifications • What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive Brand Marketing, Brand Management, Marketing, or Consumer Packaged Goods leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading brands, categories, or portfolios with full P&L accountability.
  • Proven experience developing growth strategies, managing brand portfolios, and delivering business results.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing strategic business decisions.
  • Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presence.

Working Conditions/Environment
Works in a normal office environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, see, hear, sit, stand, talk, type, walk and bend while moving about the facility. The noise level in the office is quiet. Occasional travel to plants or meetings is required.
