Employee will:

  • Learn crop scouting strategies from an experienced agronomy professional
  • Observe crop condition, pest concerns in contracted acres using crop scouting and integrated pest management strategies
  • Utilize GPS while scouting
  • Will walk fields to get the best sample of crop condition
  • Write reports on every field scouted and present reports to assigned customer / crops specialist and precision farming coordinator
  • Will operate a company vehicle in a safe and appropriate manner
  • Assist location team members as assigned

Successful Candidates must:

  • Have a foundation in agriculture with the ability to learn quickly on the job
  • Proven experience working under little supervision
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent driving record
  • Strong customer service skills
