Blue Kangaroo Packoutz of Chesapeake/Norfolk is seeking a Contents Manager to oversee contents restoration operations including pack-outs, cleaning, storage, and pack-back services.

The Contents Manager leads field technicians, manages restoration projects, coordinates with homeowners and insurance adjusters, and ensures contents are handled with care, accuracy, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Oversee pack-out, cleaning, storage, and pack-back operations

  • Manage restoration technicians and daily job scheduling

  • Ensure proper handling and protection of customer belongings

  • Monitor job progress to ensure efficiency and quality standards

Inventory & Documentation

  • Ensure accurate inventory and photo documentation of contents

  • Maintain organized tracking of customer items in storage

  • Review job documentation for insurance compliance

  • Support Xactimate-based estimating and billing documentation

Customer & Adjuster Communication

  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, adjusters, and contractors

  • Provide job updates and coordinate timelines

  • Resolve customer concerns and ensure satisfaction

Quality Control

  • Ensure restoration standards are followed

  • Verify pack-out accuracy and pack-back completion

  • Implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
