Location: Port Hueneme, CA (On-site)
Clearance: Active Top Secret (T5/SSBI) Required
*This position is contingent on contract award*
Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) delivers high-impact management and technology solutions supporting national security and environmental stewardship. We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Specialist to support an upcoming Department of the Navy program in Port Hueneme, CA.
In this role, you will support the security, compliance, and operational integrity of both unclassified and classified (up to Secret) systems, including SIPRNET environments. You will operate within an eCraft-enabled environment, supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support RMF lifecycle activities including system authorization, assessment, and continuous monitoring using eMASS
  • Manage vulnerabilities using ACAS and VRAM; track and coordinate remediation efforts
  • Maintain and secure system environments including servers, networks, applications, and databases
  • Apply STIGs, security patches, and OS upgrades to ensure compliance with DoD standards
  • Support cybersecurity toolsets including HBSS, firewalls, IDS/IPS
  • Assist in integrating and securing emerging technologies such as cloud and data analytics platforms
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and Department of the Navy cybersecurity policies and procedures

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience supporting DoD cybersecurity programs, including RMF and eMASS
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity auditing, monitoring, and inspection readiness (CCRI/IG)
  • 2+ years of experience with ACAS and VRAM
  • Working knowledge of HBSS, firewalls, IDS, and IPS
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)
  • Active T5 (Top Secret eligible) clearance required
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Department of the Navy cybersecurity environments
  • Familiarity with managing DoD cybersecurity program deliverables and compliance requirements

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $104,000 to $146,000 (annually).
