The Hilton Milwaukee is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This professional will support the human capital needs of our historic convention hotel while serving as a trusted resource and ambassador of the associate experience. As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will play an integral role in supporting strategic HR initiatives, operational excellence, and the overall talent strategy. This role provides comprehensive Human Resources support for Hilton Milwaukee, The Marc Hotel, Miller Time Pub & Grill, and shared services.
As a key member of the Human Resources team, you will support the full associate lifecycle from recruitment through offboarding including talent acquisition, onboarding, associate relations, benefits administration, compliance, training and development, recognition, and engagement initiatives. Your ability to build strong relationships, provide exceptional internal service, and partner with leaders across the organization will help foster a workplace where associates feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

What will you be doing?
• Serve as a trusted Human Resources resource for associates and leaders by providing exceptional service while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Support full-cycle recruitment, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, offer preparation, onboarding, and maintaining talent pipelines.
• Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding while promoting a positive associate experience throughout the employment lifecycle.
• Partner with leaders to support associate relations, performance management, investigations, corrective action, and policy interpretation.
• Maintain accurate associate records and process employment transactions within PeopleSoft, Taleo, payroll, and other Human Resources systems.
• Assist with benefits administration, leave processes, compliance initiatives, training coordination, and employment documentation.
• Coordinate associate engagement, recognition, appreciation, and culture-building programs that strengthen Hilton Milwaukee's workplace experience.
• Support labor relations activities, collective bargaining agreement processes, and Human Resources compliance requirements.
• Prepare reports, maintain Human Resources records, and assist with departmental projects and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with the Human Resources team to support operational goals while delivering an exceptional associate experience.
What should you bring to the role?
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, or Hospitality leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, associate engagement, and talent development practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with HRIS, ATS platforms, Microsoft Office, and compliance tracking systems preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance standards, and hospitality best practices preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while partnering collaboratively with operational leaders and HR leadership.
