Job description

  • Position Summary
    • Under the general supervision of the Manager of the unit, the Resource Coordinator is responsible for facilitating, coordinating in conjunction with health care teams, staffing, supplies/equipment, and patient flow/scheduling as a charge agent. Develop, motivate, assess, and negotiate as a charge agent in an effort to enhance organizational effectiveness. Utilizes the nursing process to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients based on current standards of practice. Functions within the permissible scope of nursing practice as defined by the Georgia Board of Nursing and St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System policies and procedures.

    • Associate Degree in Nursing - Required
  • Experience
    • 2-3 Years Registered Nurse in related perioperative field - Required
  • License & Certification
    • Registered Nurse License with State of Practice – Required
    • Professional Certification, CNOR - Required
    • Competency as evident in pursuing and maintaining national certification within subspecialty area
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
