Lifeworks is hiring a full time Residential Program Manager to work with Individuals with ID/DD in one of our Residential Programs. We are a nonprofit human service agency that provides adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to live engaged and meaningful lives. *Candidates must have managerial experience and experience working with this population.
This role supports women in a residential setting and involves providing hands-on personal care, emotional support, and daily living assistance in a trauma-informed, dignity-centered environment. This position is assigned to a single-gender residential program and requires compliance with same-gender staffing guidelines.
Essential Duties:
  • Responsible for assisting with all hands-on direct care which includes but not limited to: showering, toileting, shaving, brushing teeth, meal-time assistance
  • Handles all aspects of staffing; scheduling, on-call, training, supervision and relationship management.
  • Case Management; develops and implements all aspects of ISPs, schedules medical appointments, program and clinical reviews.
  • Completes or delegates the completion of administrative tasks, including but not limited to: staff payroll, updating of manuals and approval/ reconciliation of petty cash funds, house accounts and representative payee accounts.
  • Conducts and supervises the teaching of activities of daily living, including but not limited to: social skills, personal routines, financial management.
  • Serves as a liaison between Agency and the individuals’ family, friends and guardians.
  • Implements and oversees the implementation of behavioral interventions.
  • Implements and oversees the implementation of emergency procedures that ensure the safety of the individuals, both in the home and within the community.
  • Administers and oversees the timely and accurate administration and documentation of administration of medication(s).
  • Maintains a physically safe work environment and reports work related injuries/incidents to Human Resources in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • Experience managing a group home
  • Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; related experience preferred
  • Must be able to pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Valid MAP certification is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
