What You'll Do
Under the direction of the Property Manager, this role assists in maintaining compliance and the successful day to day operations in all aspects of property management. This role requires regular communication with residents to ensure on time rent payment, and adherence to lease agreements.
Your day-to-day may include:
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service and online presence to obtain satisfactory scores on surveys/reviews from residents and prospects.
  • Responsible for having a thorough understanding of policies related to screening qualifications and application criteria, lease paperwork, rent collection, and move-in/move-out procedures and be able to explain these items to existing and prospective residents.
  • Reviews resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid and/or late fees owed, communicates with residents regarding outstanding balances, implements procedures for collecting on delinquent balances, and enforces the lease.
  • Tour community, amenities and vacant apartments with prospects and have current knowledge of apartment specifications, vacancies, notices, and rental rates.

Requirements
What You Bring
  • A minimum of 1-2 years onsite as a Leasing Consultant required.
  • Experience in affordable and senior housing preferred.
  • Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite; including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Thorough understanding and application of Fair Housing laws.

The expected compensation range for this position is $23 - $25, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
