Job Overview: Responsible for overseeing the management of all Individual Business Traveler bookings. Group Room Manager will drive profitable business growth for the Enterprise through managing relationships and sales contracted corporate business while meeting and exceeding hotel sales budget.
Empower Your Future: The Work You'll Lead:
  • Coordinate and manage all group block reservations, including those made by Group Sales, Player Development, and Entertainment once contracts have been executed.
  • Responsible for outside Sales goals for the Business Travel segment. Develop and maintain relationships with corporate client and business travel accounts, handle all rate agreements by developing sales goals with the Revenue Managment team.
  • Responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships to support and establish hotel occupancy while increasing brand awareness throughout the community.

Job Requirements:
  • Combination of post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, Hotel Administration or related field and experience in revenue management, hotel sales, Local Negotiated Rate Management or related field to equal five years.
  • Knowledge of Opera, Agilysys or similar PMS, GDS and Revenue Management systems.
  • Proficient in Word Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Proficient in statistical and competitive analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations on a regular basis.
