Position Summary
The Dayton Lab in the Lampe Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering is seeking a Research Technician to support projects studying applications of ultrasound in the brain. Essential duties include mouse handling, mouse behavioral training, video tracking, preparing histology, assisting in lab management tasks, image registration and accurately maintaining records. Additional duties could include data processing, microscopy, and small animal surgery.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Management Preferences
Background in Biology, Neuroscience, Psychology, or a related discipline.
Experience working in a laboratory.
Experience with animal handling.
