Position Summary:
We are seeking a high-energy External Reporting Manager to join our Tempe, AZ, corporate offices. This position will be primarily responsible for supporting the process for SEC filings and conducting technical research in a great team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation and comprehensive review of SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K), including ownership of key disclosure sections such as cash flow statements, and ensuring accuracy through detailed tie-outs and disclosure checklists
  • Lead technical accounting research and prepare formal position papers for complex or non-routine transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP Manage and participate in special projects as assigned
  • Manage accounting and reporting related to the Company's 401(k) plan, including coordination of annual audit requirements
  • Review lease contracts and evaluate accounting positions based on ASC 842
  • Support the monthly and quarterly close process related to lease accounting, including reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Maintain and enhance disclosure controls and procedures to ensure completeness and accuracy of external reporting
  • Support SOX compliance efforts, including control design, execution, and documentation related to external reporting
  • Partner with FP&A, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations to gather and validate information for external disclosures
  • Support SEC reporting systems (e.g., Workiva), including document management, workflow coordination, and XBRL tagging review
  • Participate in implementation and testing of new technologies and transformation/efficiency projects
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance on SEC reporting and technical accounting matters

Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. The candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with a public accounting firm servicing public clients or equivalent in a large publicly traded company. At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in an SEC reporting environment. CPA required.

  • Possess strong SEC reporting and US GAAP technical knowledge
  • Proficiency with Workiva (Wdesk) or similar reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Big Four public accounting experience is preferred
  • Previous semiconductor industry experience is desired
  • Previous experience with XBRL
