Data Warehouse Analyst / Report Builder โ€“ Power BI & Snowflake | Tallahassee, FL | Onsite

This position involves working as a Data Warehouse Analyst and Report Builder with a focus on Microsoft Power BI and Snowflake in Tallahassee, FL. The role requires designing and developing Power BI semantic models, building advanced DAX measures, and optimizing SQL queries and Snowflake datasets for reporting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with data engineering teams to deliver scalable BI solutions and troubleshoot and optimize Power BI and Snowflake performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Power BI semantic models and dataflows.
  • Build advanced DAX measures and enterprise dashboards.
  • Optimize SQL queries and Snowflake datasets for reporting.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to deliver scalable BI solutions.
  • Document metadata, data lineage, and reporting specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize Power BI and Snowflake performance.
Requirements:

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of IT experience in Business Intelligence and Reporting
  • 5โ€“7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Semantic Models, Dashboards, DAX, Report Builder, Performance Tuning)
  • Strong experience with Snowflake (Performance Tuning, RBAC, Clustering, Compute Optimization)
  • Advanced SQL (CTEs, Window Functions, Query Optimization)
  • Expertise in Star Schema, Dimensional Modeling, and Fact/Dimension Design
  • Power BI Dataflows, Power Query, Metadata Management & Data Lineage
  • Experience integrating Power BI with Snowflake and building enterprise reporting solutions

Key Responsibilities:

  • CI/CD for Power BI and version control experience is a plus

Education: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
