Job Summary

In this role, you will prepare and analyze financial information, support reporting requirements, and deliver insights that help leadership understand results, trends, and risk. Essential Functions
  • Compile, validate, and interpret complex data sets with limited supervision, while supporting forecasting, reporting, and decision-making activities in tight timeframes.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports, analysis, and supporting schedules used for internal leadership review, corporate reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze financial results, trends, and variances to identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities, and communicate findings clearly to management.
  • Collect, validate, and consolidate financial data from multiple sources to improve reporting accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Maintain and enhance spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools that support financial reporting and business decision-making.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and materials for senior leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Partner with internal teams to answer reporting questions, explain financial results, and improve understanding of reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable government regulations, including DAR, FAR, and audit expectations.
  • Participate in audits and work with internal partners and external or government auditors to support reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient Excel and Powerpoint skills. 
  • 2+ years of prior experience, independently analyzing financial and operational data as well as understanding KFI drivers.
  • Working knowledge of financial reporting principles, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, financial systems, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop clear recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in government contracting, defense, or other highly regulated environment and knowledge of DAR, FAR, and other applicable government regulations.
  • Experience supporting internal or external audits, including coordination with government auditors or DCAA.
  • Experience preparing reporting for senior leadership, corporate finance, regulators, or board-level stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with financial systems administration, reporting automation, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to interpret business performance through trend analysis, profit and loss review, working capital, depreciation, and return metrics.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI productivity tools
