Job description

The Chemical Repacker will repackage bulk chemical into smaller pack sizes as specified on work orders.
What You Will Do
• Repack non-hazardous and Hazardous chemicals, utilizing personal protection equipment provided.
• Follow written instruction on proper gowning, balance calibration, equipment operation, work order instructions and ensure that all data is documented accurately
• Retrieve product and components for next scheduled assignment
• Verify documents and components are accurate and identical, and perform scale calibration
• Accurately weigh chemical and perform repackaging at a rate comparable to established standards and expectations
• Maintain clean production rooms, and equipment to meet department standards.
• Document on the work order all packaging and raw materials consumed in the repackaging process
• Assist with related special projects, as assigned
Who You Are
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Intermediate level numerical and math skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently in 8 hours a day
• Ability to wear a half-face and full-face respirator for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to push material handling equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Self-Motivated
