Job description

This position is accountable for receiving damaged products, salvaging saleable products, restoring those products to saleable condition and returning those products to inventory.
The Repacker's primary duties include evaluating products returned due to damage to determine which products meet the threshold of acceptability for sale in compliance with the Warehouse policies and procedures and all quality control standards that apply to repacking. The Repacker is responsible for cleaning and repackaging the acceptable products, including revising the product coding to ensure all combined products in the mother carton are coded correctly. The Repacker is responsible for inventorying the repackaged products and working with the Warehouse Manager/Assistant Warehouse Manager to have the products returned to inventory. The Repacker is also responsible for destroying unsaleable product and maintaining the appropriate records that facilitate tax credit due to the Company for destroyed product. The Repacker is required to comply with all policies and procedures regarding recycling waste materials resulting from repacking operations.
This is a full time position, Monday through Friday, with hours beginning approximately at 6:00 a.m. and ending at 2:00 p.m..
