Are you the Business Development Manager we've been looking for?ย  You will join a successful conference team and sell sponsorship packages internationally andย strengthen our Energy Storage, Solar & Renewable Energy Revenues events portfolio.ย ย 

We work across a diverse portfolio of events in the USA, Asia and Europe. Our key goal is to collaborate with our customers to help their businesses thrive and create a sustainable future on a global scale.ย 

Role Accountability and Duties:

  • Close and repeat high-value business at conferencesย 
  • Maximizing revenue through sponsorship salesย 
  • Developing relationships with decision-makers to create new opportunitiesย and build accountsย 
  • Identifying and securing new customers with major account potentialย ย 
  • Achieving and exceeding KPIs and monthly sales targetsย 
  • Managing a sales pipeline document for reporting purposesย 
  • Forecasting business accurately on a weekly and monthly basisย 
  • Gathering product and company feedback from clients and prospectsย 

What you bring to the team:

  • A solid and proven background in (ideally conference) sales, minimum 3-5 years
  • Proven track record of winning new business and successfully managing the accounts of existing clientsย 
  • Able to sell on concept and provide a consultative sales approach with an excellent telephone mannerย 
  • Integrity is key; our products are market-leading, and you should be tooย 
  • Smart, ambitious, committed and actively focused on self-improvementย 
  • Enjoy being challenged and engaged in a KPI driven environment where a good percentage of your total earnings are performance-basedย 
  • A genuine interest in and desire to contribute to the world's evolving energy future, in which, we believe renewables and clean energy have a vital and rapidly growing roleย 
  • Able to travel globally to events and pitch in person existing and new business opportunities
  • Identify new product or event ideas ย to senior management
Qualifications

  • A solid and proven background in sales, minimum 2-5 years (conference sales preferably)ย 
  • Proven track record of winning new business and successfully account managing existing clientsย 
  • Able to sell on concept and provide a consultative sales approach with an excellent telephone mannerย 
  • Integrity is key; our products are market-leading, and you should be tooย 
  • Smart, ambitious, committed and actively focused on self-improvementย 
  • Enjoy being challenged and engaged in a KPI driven environment where a good percentage of your total earnings are performance basedย 
  • Ideally you will have a genuine interest in and desire to contribute to the world's evolving energy future, in which, we believe renewables and clean energy have a vital and rapidly growing roleย 
  • Able to travel globally to events and pitch in person existing and new business opportunities
  • Identify new product or event ideas ย to senior management
  • The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 depending on experience, plus commissionย
