• Manage a caseload of clients, striving to establish rapport and fostering professional relationships by adhering to ethical standards.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, discussing therapy outcomes, scheduling future appointments, and planning for appropriate discharges.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, ensuring they align with the unique needs of each client.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, including progress notes, intake assessments, and updates to treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions weekly, using evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s circumstances.
• Engage in ongoing supervision and collaborate actively with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and enhance client outcomes.
• Promote a continual growth mindset, remaining open to feedback and pursuing professional development opportunities.

This position primarily focuses on the youth population, addressing their unique mental health needs and concerns. Clinicians will engage with young clients dealing with various challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues, striving to create a supportive environment that fosters healing and resilience.

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements for clinical practice.
• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly focusing on assessment and diagnosis as well as individual and group therapy.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for documentation and communication, including basic keyboarding skills.

• Experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals struggling with substance abuse.
• A background in youth counseling or familiarization with evidence-based therapies directed towards young populations.
• Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance collaborative approaches to care.
