Elite Family and Youth Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position that allows you to work from the comfort of your home while engaging with clients from our community health clinic. Despite the remote nature of this role, you will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services. • Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health status through interviews and standardized assessments.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, incorporating evidence-based methods.
• Engage in regular one-on-one therapy sessions with clients, offering emotional support and coping strategies to help them manage their issues effectively.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to maintain connectivity with clients and provide flexible scheduling options.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for participants to share and learn from each other's experiences.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, making referrals when necessary.
• Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

The Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals struggling with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and we value cultural competence in therapy, ensuring that care is tailored to the specific needs of each individual.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and proven experience in applying evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Ability to create a culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic environment.
• Excellent crisis intervention skills, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, essential for building rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and comfortable using various digital tools for client management.
• Commitment to ethical practice, professional development, and patient confidentiality.
• A collaborative mindset suited for working in a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy in a virtual setting.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and familiarity with diverse populations and community health needs.
• Knowledge of local resources and referral services within the Santa Rosa community.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus of $3,000. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
