The Manager, Procurement Operations serves as the operational backbone of Circle's Procurement function, owning the administration of our Procure-to-Pay system (ZipHQ), driving continuous process improvements, and building the enablement resources that empower employees to navigate procurement effectively. Reporting to the Director of Sourcing and Procurement, this is an individual contributor role best suited for a proactive, solutions-oriented operator who can independently identify inefficiencies and execute improvements end-to-end.

What you'll work on:

  • Administering and optimizing ZipHQ as the primary system administrator, managing configurations, user access, and system integrity to support a seamless Procure-to-Pay experience

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement across Procurement Operations, independently proposing solutions and project managing execution from ideation through completion

  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive Procure-to-Pay enablement resources, including user guides, training materials, and SOPs that drive employee adoption and compliance

  • Tracking and reporting on P2P metrics, proactively surfacing trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement to Procurement leadership

  • Owning the end-to-end vendor onboarding process, ensuring timely setup in ZipHQ and compliance with Procurement policy

  • Developing, maintaining, and communicating Procurement policies and standard operating procedures to drive consistency and compliance across the organization

  • Supporting internal controls and audit readiness by ensuring P2P processes meet compliance requirements and documentation remains current and accessible

What you'll bring to Circle:


Core Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Procurement Operations, Procure-to-Pay, or a similar operational role

  • Hands-on experience as a ZipHQ system administrator (required)

  • Demonstrated ability to independently identify process inefficiencies, develop solutions, and manage execution through to completion

  • Strong analytical skills with experience tracking, interpreting, and reporting procurement metrics

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered

  • Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development


Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience developing and maintaining procurement policies and standard operating procedures

  • Familiarity with Accounts Payable processes and cross-functional P2P workflows

  • Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.

Base Pay Range: $120,000-$157,500
