What success looks like in this role:

Position Summary

The Windows Systems Support role provides ongoing Systems Administration support, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, applications, and connectivity components for Windows environments across multiple locations. This role provides technical support and advises on the use of programming tools, database systems, and networks.

Operational responsibilities include remediation of daily incident tickets, system compliance, system run enhancement, testing, staging, policy/procedure enhancement, client contact coordination, and operational recommendations to address availability and reliability issues on Windows systems.

Core Responsibilities

Systems Administration & Support

• Provides Systems Administration support for multiple organizations across the company, building on responsibilities such as:
• Provides Systems Administration hands-on support, troubleshooting and technical guidance.
• Analyzes and recommends commercially available hardware and software capable of meeting network, systems, and user requirements.
• Contributes to the design, development, and maintenance of Systems Administration infrastructure (routers, switches, and application load balancers).

Client Engagement & Requirements

• Engages with clients to gather specifications, requirements, and systems expectations.
• Coordinates with client contacts to align operational recommendations with business needs.

Performance & Testing

• Configures and maintains software performance, stress, and load tests, and makes recommendations based on results.
• Remediates daily incident tickets to maintain Windows system availability and reliability.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

• Conducts training sessions with users and Systems Administration team members.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• BA/BS degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Deep expertise in Windows systems administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical support background.
• Experience supporting Azure private tenant environments and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Exposure to enterprise backup, recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Familiarity with load balancing and traffic management solutions.
• Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server high-availability configurations.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies, including VMware-based environments.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery principles, recovery planning, and operational resiliency.
• Experience developing migration strategies and implementation recommendations.
• Strong documentation, and communication skills.
• Familiarity and knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solution in Windows.
• U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required.
