The Bright Wellness Psychological Center is actively seeking compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Counselors to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via video chat, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster mental health improvement.
  • Facilitate discussions around clients’ emotions and experiences to enhance their self-awareness and understand their interpersonal relationships.
  • Assist clients in developing personalized treatment goals and act as an advocate in their mental health journey.
  • Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions, formulating and implementing comprehensive treatment plans based on your clinical expertise and client needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will primarily consist of adults who are stable and have low acuity mental health needs. Every client is thoroughly screened to ensure their suitability for remote counseling, focusing on those who can benefit from manageable therapeutic support. You will be matched with clients whose needs align with your specialties, enhancing the effectiveness of your counseling.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • Must hold full licensing by the relevant state board, allowing independent practice without supervision. Acceptable licenses include:
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
    • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic demeanor are essential in fostering a therapeutic alliance with clients.
  • Proficient computer literacy is necessary for utilizing our online therapy platform and managing session documentation.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have prior counseling experience in outpatient settings, particularly within remote environments. Familiarity with telehealth technologies and platforms will be a valuable asset, alongside a track record of successfully helping clients navigate their mental health challenges.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000 per year, based on your working hours and caseload.
