Pyramid Care Consultants is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in providing high-quality care to trauma injury patients. This full-time, remote position allows you to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals facing mental and emotional challenges stemming from their traumatic experiences. You will work closely with patients, providing them with the tools and support they need to navigate their healing journey.

This role allows for remote work, enabling flexibility while maintaining a strong commitment to client care. You will be expected to operate effectively within a remote setting, utilizing digital tools and software to communicate with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

• Conduct initial evaluations of patients to assess their individual mental and emotional needs and develop customized treatment plans tailored to their specific circumstances.

• Engage in ongoing assessments and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure that the therapeutic interventions remain effective and aligned with patient progress.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions where you listen to patients' concerns, provide support, and guide them through coping strategies that promote psychological resilience.

• Educate patients and their families on coping mechanisms for stress and trauma, empowering them with knowledge to tackle their challenges outside of therapy sessions.

• Collaborate with various social and medical agencies, healthcare providers, and community outreach programs to ensure that patients have access to all necessary resources and services.

• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting significant changes and recommending adjustments to treatment plans when necessary.

• Participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification, ensuring you remain updated on the latest evidence-based practices in mental health.

Your primary focus will be on trauma injury patients, which includes individuals dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and other emotional disturbances caused by traumatic experiences. You will utilize best practices and innovative therapeutic methodologies to help these patients not only cope but also thrive in their recovery journeys.

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• A valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working specifically with trauma patients.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for documenting patient information and managing correspondence.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Experience using Salesforce and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, which will enhance your efficiency in managing patient information and documentation.

• A background in trauma-informed care methodologies, which is essential for effectively supporting our patient population.
