Responsibilities Position Objective: The Health Coach is an operational role and is responsible for helping individuals improve their overall health and well-being.

The incumbent will report to the Senior Manager of Health Services (or a similar role) and will work closely with clients to develop personalized health plans, provide guidance and support, and empower them to make positive lifestyle changes. Responsibilities: Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' health goals, concerns, and challenges Develop personalized health plans based on the client's needs, incorporating nutrition, exercise, stress management, and other relevant factors Provide ongoing coaching and support to clients, helping them stay motivated and accountable Educate clients on healthy lifestyle choices, including proper nutrition, exercise routines, and stress-reduction techniques Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to their health plans as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nutritionists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in health and wellness Maintain accurate and confidential client records Additional duties as assigned Position Requirements/ Skills: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., health promotion, nutrition, psychology) is required Certification as a Health Coach from a recognized program is required 1 + year of experience working as a Health Coach Proven experience in a leadership role within a health coaching or wellness program Strong knowledge of health and wellness principles, behavior change theories, and evidence-based coaching techniques Proficiency in using technology and software applications relevant to health coaching Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of health coaching Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration Physical Requirements: Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time Communicating with others to exchange information Repeating motions that may include the wrist, hands, and/or fingers Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned Must be able to lift at least 15lbs at times Key Attributes/ Skills: Has a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and models the behaviors of core values and guiding principles An effective team player who contributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet commitments Is able to work within our Better Health environment by facing tasks and challenges with energy and passion Pursues activities with focus and drive, defines work in terms of success, and can be counted on to complete goals Demonstrated ability to handle data with confidentiality Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams; ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable communicating with senior-level leadership, providers, and health plans Strong interpersonal and presentation skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Must be results-oriented with a focus on quality execution and delivery Appreciation of cultural diversity and sensitivity toward target patient populations We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package: Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life 401k, with employer match Paid time off Paid holidays Pay Range USD $19.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
