The company partners with employers, health plans, and pharmacy benefit managers to deliver comprehensive, cost-effective medical care for individuals living with obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. Members receive access to specialized clinicians, including endocrinologists, obesity medicine specialists, and clinical pharmacists, at-home lab testing, prescription medications, and lifestyle support. 9amHealth was founded in 2021 and is backed by leading healthcare investors like Define Ventures, SemperVirens, 7Wire Ventures, and The Cigna Group Ventures.

What It IsWe are hiring a health coach who knows caring for people with chronic conditions like diabetes and obesity isn't a job, it's a calling. What You'll DoProvide motivational support and educational communications to 9amHealth members that are managing obesity, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and weight concerns via zoom.

Use motivational interviewing, and coaching techniques to support lasting behavior changes in areas like nutrition, sleep hygiene, movement, and stress management using standards of care aligned with NBC-HWC.Maintain an up-to-date calendar to support member visit scheduling.

Utilize member data to personalize sessions and support members in achieving their health goals.

Complete accurate documentation of all member visits and interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR).Reinforce nutrition and lifestyle plans developed by 9amHealth RDs, tailoring guidance to each member's goals and preferences.

Escalate member concerns and help deliver an exceptional care experience.

Deliver empathetic, inclusive care that respects and reflects the diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences of all members.
