Job Description:
Our 1099 Virtual Urgent Care Physicians provide high quality, patient-centered, acute care services through secure video and phone consultations. This role is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating low to moderate acuity medical conditions while delivering exceptional patient experience in a fully remote environment.
The ideal candidate combines strong clinical acumen with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage care efficiently in a technology-enabled model.
Must be able to work weekends!
Responsibilities:
  • Provide real-time medical consultations to patients via video, phone, or chat platforms.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of non-emergency medical conditions remotely.
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records.
  • Educate patients on self-care, preventive measures, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Contribute to maintain clinical guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:
Education:
  • Board certification in family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, or related field.
  • Valid medical license (MD, DO) in the relevant state(s).
  • Multi State licensure required (Compact State participation preferred) - 30+ state licenses highly desired
  • Minimum 5 years of post-residency experience (Urgent Care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, or primary care)

Experience:
  • Prior telehealth experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred.
  • Proficiency with telemedicine technology and electronic health records.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, especially on weekends.
