Remote Walmart Testing information

What is Remote Walmart Testing?

Remote Walmart Testing refers to the process of conducting software, application, or system tests for Walmart’s digital platforms from a remote location, rather than onsite at a Walmart facility. Professionals in this role ensure that Walmart’s e-commerce sites, mobile apps, and internal systems function correctly by identifying bugs, security vulnerabilities, and performance issues. This position typically involves using testing tools, collaborating with development teams online, and documenting issues to improve user experience. Remote testers play a crucial part in maintaining Walmart’s digital reliability and customer satisfaction.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote Walmart tester, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Walmart Tester, you typically need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in software quality assurance, often supported by a degree in computer science or related field. Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, Jira, and Walmart’s proprietary systems, along with ISTQB or similar certifications, is often required. Effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and self-motivation are essential soft skills for remote collaboration and issue resolution. These skills ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software for Walmart’s large-scale retail operations.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals in remote Walmart testing roles, and how can they be addressed?

Professionals in Remote Walmart Testing roles often encounter challenges related to communication, coordination, and access to Walmart's proprietary systems. Working remotely can make it harder to quickly resolve issues with team members or understand nuanced requirements from stakeholders. To address these challenges, it's important to establish clear communication channels, participate actively in virtual meetings, and document testing procedures thoroughly. Utilizing collaborative testing tools and staying updated on Walmart's testing protocols will also help ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Growth Development Representative

Cube Dev

San Francisco, CA • Remote

Full-time

Job description

At Cube, we're redefining how organizations deliver, consume, and automate data and analytics across teams, tools, and AI agents. Our mission is to enable Agentic Analytics, where AI agents work alongside humans on a shared semantic foundation.

If you're fascinated by building core data and AI infrastructure, the kind that powers analytics at the world's most advanced technology companies, but want the agility and ownership of a startup, Cube is where you'll thrive.

With 19,000+ GitHub stars and 13,000+ community members, Cube is trusted by 400+ companies, including Maersk, Kimberly-Clark, Freshworks, Patagonia, Webflow, Brex, Deel, Tubi, Walmart, and Drata. Our platform empowers AI agents with a universal semantic foundation, enabling autonomous analytics at scale while maintaining consistency, security, and performance across BI tools, spreadsheets, and embedded applications.

The role

We have an immediate opening for a Growth Development Representative. Reporting to our VP of Product, you'll be the bridge between our product-led growth motion and enterprise sales. As one of our first GDR hires, you'll have a rare opportunity to shape, optimize, automate, and grow the GDR function at Cube — a brave listener willing to test a wide range of ideas to deliver more signups and qualified meetings to our sales team.

This isn't a traditional SDR role. You'll report to Product (not Sales) because we're building a growth engine grounded in product understanding, technical credibility, and market education. You'll work across three distinct lead sources — inbound marketing, self-serve signups, and our 19,000+ GitHub community — which takes both discipline and genuine technical curiosity.

What you'll do

  • Hit a quarterly target of qualified meetings sourced from our range of inbound channels — paid and organic, free (PLG) signups, and open-source users.
  • Build outbound campaigns that drive interest, user signups, and qualified meetings for sales.
  • Continually optimize target audiences, sales cadences, and pitches for the best results.
  • Run outreach across a mix of traditional and new channels — email, phone, LinkedIn, AI — and keep testing new methods and messaging.
  • Improve GDR efficiency by bringing in and implementing new tools.
  • Partner closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to creatively improve conversion from top-of-funnel interest into the sales funnel.
  • Give consistent visibility into sales-development activity, hand-offs, dispositions, KPIs, and outcomes by region, team, and individual.
  • Maintain and improve the data quality of leads and contacts in the CRM — opportunity detail, contact and account data, and call/meeting history.
  • Constantly seek new target audiences to bring into the funnel while converting existing interest (free signups, OSS users, and other inbound leads).

Who you are

  • A highly motivated, disciplined self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and excellent written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Metrics-driven, with an analytical approach to solving business problems and reviewing and reporting on KPIs.
  • Experienced building multi-threaded campaigns across mid-market and enterprise organizations.
  • Creative and strategic in how you generate qualified leads.
  • Comfortable interacting with stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Enterprise sales experience, ideally with exposure to (or genuine interest in) the data/analytics industry.
  • Familiar with sales prospecting tools such as Attio, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

We're a fully remote company based in San Francisco, hiring for this role in the United States. You can work from anywhere in the US and be part of a fast-moving, product-driven team.
