The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As an HIS Business Intelligence Technical Lead (Solventum) you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Leading design, development, and evolution of BI and analytics solutions for healthcare coding and clinical data products for global customers
  • Implementing Enterprise analytics best practices, data models, semantic models, agentic and generative AI analytics solutions for our global teams and customer base
  • Determining the BI architecture, data modeling, and analytics best practices for delivery of Solventum HIS products and customer solutions
  • Supporting Solventum HIS analytics development for both internal and external customers across the US and the globe. Working closely with team throughout Solventum to deliver our data driven products

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Software Development, or Computer Engineering AND ten (10) years of enterprise analytics software development experience

AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
  • Seven (7) years of programming experience with data lakes, fabrics, and/or large data sets
  • Cloud development experience (GCP, Azure, AWS)
  • Experience healthcare data and healthcare related security concepts

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Three (3) years as a senior technical leader of BI/Analytics programs supporting external customers at a global scale with hundreds of customer enterprises and users
  • Hands-on experience in designing full Analytics products and programs including source to target mapping, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and visualization
  • Experience leading technical design and implementation across multiple teams
  • Cloud Development experience with strong but not limited to background within the AWS ecosystem (e.g., S3, EMR, Glue, Athena, Quicksight)
  • Experience in Python, Spark, and EMR
  • Experience in Lakehouse and Fabric architecture
  • Experience in Open-Source tools such as Apache Arrow, Parquet, Nifi, Airflow, Superset
  • Demonstrated advancement of analytics to Agentic first pipelines such as Langchain
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced analytics environment, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $142,800 - $196,350, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
